Deformers Day: 1

Okay, so today the teacher gave us another mini-lesson called deformers. This is about how to use a deforming tool on squares, while using it on something that something must have lots of divisions or it is impossible for you to bend it.

This picture is using the Twist option.                            This one was made using the Bend option.

FINISHED: Helmet

Okay, today i finally finished the Helmet project I started a while ago, like 2 or 3 weeks at this point now.... I ended up restarting at the beginning of class today since the files i had saved on my flash drive decided to break and became worthless to me. So, without further delay here is my finished helmet.

This picture is showing the helmet with the lines highlighted.

This bottom picture shows the helmets just by  themselves with nothing selected.

Helmet: Day 1 again...

Today in class I was working on the helmet once again. I restarted today again for around the 3rd or 4th time in 2 weeks, since i screwed something up so badly nothing was salvageable, once again. I was able to get it to the correct size this time but still haven't connected the jaw piece to the main section.

FINSHED: Birdie looking thing

Okay! This is the final part of the 3 part mini-lesson assigned last class. In this project we had to make what the tutorial called a "Salt Shaker" but it looks NOTHING like a salt shaker. To me it looks more like a birdie     that would be used in a game of badminton. So here is the final product and tell me what you think it looks like most. A Birdie, A Salt Shaker, or something entirely different.

FINISHED: Egg Head

Okay, this is part 2 of a 3 part mini-lesson the teacher assigned last class. This one is supposed to be an egg head, or something similar. In the project I feel like I messed up on his mouth and the eyes look way off to me. I'm not 100% sure but i think it was supposed to be put in the cup from the first part of the project but i had accidentally deleted the file for it so i didn't set it up as that. Now without further ado...

FINISHED: Beveling

We had to do a beveling mini lesson yesterday in class and since I didn't have enough time to finish it during class  I brought my laptop to school and finished it during my off period.

The top one is a shot of the cubes, not selected, with smooth preview active.

The bottom picture is a shot of the 8 cubes showing the edges.
